CONTRIBUTION IN THE MEDICAL FIELD
A Beginning
2009 I started a Neurosurgical-based hospital in Azamgarh, the only hospital offering Neurosurgical services within a 100 km radius, thus reducing head injury-related expiries significantly in those times. Moreover, in due course, this hospital received many national and international awards despite being situated at a remote periphery for its quality care and patient-oriented services.
Besides this, to overcome the diagnostic-related needs, I started a Diagnostic Center in Azamgarh in 2010, which is still a leading diagnostic infrastructure of eastern UP.
With more than 5000 neurosurgical operations encompassing nearly all domains of the neurosurgical field from Head Injury, Spinal Injuries, Stroke Surgeries, Brain Tumors, Vascular, Skull Base, Endoscopic Brain and Spine Surgeries, Transnasal Surgeries, Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgeries, Spinal Instrumentations and Peripheral Nerve Surgeries. A vast experience over these 17 years of my journey as a Neurosurgeon.

Recognition by the State
For delivering the super specialty services at a remote periphery, I received UP Lokmat Samman in 2013. Subsequently, in 2017, Honourable Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave an appreciation award for outstanding contribution to the Medical sector and social activities. In addition, my hospital Lifeline Hospital & Research Centre, Azamgarh was awarded the AHPI award in 2019 and 2020 and UP Entrepreneur Award in 2021-22 in the healthcare sector.
Pioneering work in Stroke in the Country
Considering the high mortality from stroke patients, I started the first Primary stroke care unit of UP in 2015 and conducted many public awareness campaigns (Nukkad Natak), including seminars for doctors focusing on stroke. As a result, this stroke unit has been known for significant thrombolysis numbers since its inception in north India.
Our institution was awarded by the "World Stroke Organization" (WSO) for its quality works and services delivered in 2021 and again in 2022 as a WSO Angels Diamond award. It was the first time in the country that this award was announced by WSO and given only to the 11 leading hospitals, including the government and private sectors.
With our participation in the Stroke Awareness Campaign, we became a part of the world's most extensive campaign for stroke awareness and made a Guinness Book of the world record in 2021.

Awareness and Education to reduce the Head Injury-Related Mortality
As the head injury is a significant cause of mortality and morbidity worldwide, I conducted many seminars to educate the common medical practitioners (Doctors) on the initial treatment of head injuries in golden hours to save lives.
At the same time, as no dedicated book was available in the world literature for head injury-related surgeries, I wrote and edited a book with contributions from many world leaders of neurosurgery focusing on the surgical aspect, considering the problems of neurosurgeons practicing at remote peripheries of not only in India but in the world.

Services during COVID-19 Pandemic
During the first COVID-19 pandemic, when most government-sector hospitals were converted into COVID hospitals, I operated on more than 350 Neurosurgical Patients during the first COVID-19 pandemic, which was among the largest operated cases in neurosurgery in the country.
Contribution to the Academics
Besides 6 National and 4 International Publications, I wrote 25 Book Chapters and Edited Two Neurosurgical Books, I have delivered many Guest Lectures at National and International Conferences.
My most significant contribution to my field is discovering a new disease, "Spinal Accessory Neuralgia"
My book, "Surgical Nuances of Head Injuries" which is again the "1st" and only book dedicated to head injury-related surgeries till now, with the world-leading publication (Thieme publishers), and finally, the introduction of DNB neurosurgery Curriculum at my institution to improve the neurosurgical academics in eastern UP.

CONTRIBUTION TO THE SOCIETY
Environment Protection
Apart from public awareness campaigns Against Open Defecation, I introduced the theme "Clean and Green Azamgarh" and motivated people for Plantation programs.
For the poor patient, I offered free treatment in exchange for planting a tree, with this movement, I planted more than 10,000 Plants.
