Welcome to my Website.
I, Dr. Anoop Kumar Singh, take this opportunity and pleasure to introduce myself. I was born into a middle-class family on 30 August 1974 in Deoriya, Uttar Pradesh. I am second among three brothers.
Soon after completing my Intermediate Azamgarh, I was selected to do my MBBS at the prestigious KGMC Lucknow for my medical graduation. Further, I pursued an M.S. in General Surgery and, finally, an M.Ch. Neurosurgery from the same K.G.M.U. Institution as a Gold medallist student.
Meanwhile, I got married to Dr. Gayatri Kumari in 2003 and experienced the Bliss of a new era in my life with her. We are blessed with a son and a daughter.
After completing my studies in 2007, I chose to work in Azamgarh, U.P. (where basic medical facilities were lacking) and joined Maha Mrityunjay Hospital. Over the next two years, I practiced there. Meanwhile, I got an opportunity to fellowship in Skullbase Surgery under the auspicious guidance of Professor Atul Goyal from KEM Hospital-Mumbai.
Struggling in a resource-constrained atmosphere where even a proper 24-hour CT scan machine was unavailable in those days, my aims and objectives were clear, i.e., to improve the medical field of our Azamgarh. Finally, aiming to serve the people of Azamgarh & Eastern Uttar Pradesh in the best possible way, with family support, especially of my mother, Mrs. Indubala Yadav, my wife, Dr. Gayatri Kumari, and younger brother, Dr. Piyush Kumar Singh, we founded Lifeline Hospital and Research Centre in 2009, which is an ISO:9000 Certified with full NABH accredited Infrastructure.
Today, this state-of-the-art setup is among the country's most advanced neurosurgical hospitals and is well known for its treatment and surgical results in this very challenging medical field. Moreover, this hospital has won many state, national, and international awards despite being situated at a remote periphery for its quality of care. Furthermore, considering the diagnostic needs of people of this part of the country, we set up the Pratap Diagnostic Centre in 2010, which has also been an essential medical landmark in Azamgarh since its inception.
For the services delivered at a remote periphery, I received UP Lokmat Samman in 2013. In 2017, Honorable Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave me an appreciation award (In the Sudarshan Channel program) for my outstanding contribution to the medical sector and social activities. Again, in 2021-22, our hospital (Lifeline Hospital & Research Centre) was selected for UP Entrepreneur Award 2021-22 in the healthcare sector. The quality care delivered to stroke patients at Lifeline Hospital was acknowledged by the World Stroke Organization (WSO). We are a recipient of the WSO Angels Diamond award for 2021, 2022, and 2023 continuously in a row and shared it with very few leading hospitals worldwide. In addition, being the world's most extensive stroke awareness campaign partner, we also became part of a gunnies book of world records.
With more than 5,000 Neurosurgical Operations encompassing nearly all domains of the neurosurgical field, including head injuries, stroke surgeries, tumors, vascular, skull-base including trans nasal surgeries, endoscopic brain and spine surgeries, spinal injuries, minimally invasive spinal surgeries, spinal instrumentations, and pediatric and peripheral nerve surgeries, I have had vast experience over these 17 years of my neurosurgical journey. In addition to six national and four international publications, I wrote 25 book chapters and edited two neurosurgical books. My book, "Surgical Nuances of Head Injuries," is the first and only book dedicated to head injury-related surgeries, published by the leading world publisher Thieme.
These achievements could become possible because of the blessings of the Almighty, my teachers, my parents, the immense love, support, and sacrifices of my family, and the faith of my well-wishers and an ordinary man of this part of the country in our abilities. I cannot express gratitude for this unconditional support, love, and blessings.
